AMERICAN NATIONAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY COMPANY (ANPAC®) recognizes and respects the privacy of our policyholders and persons contacting this site. Personal information is any information that identifies you or your personal accounts. As a general principle, ANPAC® will not automatically collect personal information (such as your name, telephone number or email address) from visitors to this site. Personal information is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted by you. We may collect certain non-personal information to optimize our web pages (e.g., identify the type of internet browser you are using, the operating system of your computer, your IP address or the address of your internet service provider). We will ask for your name and email address when you fill out an ANPAC® information request form, and when you request other services that require registration, such as subscribing to ANPAC® E-mail Updates. Any personal information stored in our computers is protected from unauthorized access by secure firewall and database architecture. ANPAC® will not sell or disclose your personal information to any non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes. In addition, we hold our employees and business partners to strict standards when collecting, reviewing or working with your personal information. In certain circumstances it may be necessary to disclose user information in order to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons causing injury to or interfering with your rights, our rights, or the rights of other users of this site and our services. Security Generally

The security of your personal information is a matter of the utmost concern to ANPAC®. Your ANPAC® account is password protected so that only you can access it and view information relevant to your account. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. No authorized representative of ANPAC® will ever ask you for your password in an unsolicited contact, telephone call or email. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.

Please remember to sign out of or log off your ANPAC® account and close your browser window when you have finished accessing your account. This will help ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if your computer is accessible to them or you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place.

ANPAC® uses an industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, to allow for the encryption of sensitive personal information such as name, address, credit card and bank account information you may be requested to provide online. If you are using a security-enabled web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 or better, or Netscape Navigator 2.0 or better, the information you transmit to us is encrypted. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. Although ANPAC® strives to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products and services. These transmissions are undertaken at your own risk. Once we receive your personal information, however, we will make our best efforts to maintain its security on our systems.

Protections for Children (Individual Users Under the Age of 13)

ANPAC® does not knowingly solicit information from children, nor do we knowingly market our products to children. Persons under 13 years of age may not submit or post personal information to ANPAC® without the consent of their parent or guardian. Persons under 13 years of age will not be listed in our member directory or receive direct marketing communications. No information collected from persons under 13 years of age will be used for any marketing or promotional purposes except as explicitly stated during registration.

All persons registering with ANPAC® will receive an email confirming their registration. Persons under 13 years of age must provide the email address of their parent or guardian when registering. The parent or guardian must validate the account of any person under 13 years of age in order for that person to use any interactive ANPAC® service.


When you connect with this site, ANPAC® places a small text file, called a "cookie," on your hard drive, as a means identifying you to our computers in the future. Cookies are a standard type of data file used by web site administrators to facilitate your ongoing access to and use of a particular site. Depending on the information you have previously provided to us, a cookie from ANPAC® might contain your name, email address, postal address and/or telephone number.
